The molecule ozone is unstable and has a useful lifetime of 15 minutes before it breaks back down into oxygen. In developing the SAO cartridge, tersano could stabilize the ozone and extend its half life and potency. - Step One: Cold tap water enters the cartridge and is purified; it then enters the Lotus PRO and is infused with ozone, becoming SAO.
- Step Two: When SAO contacts a contaminated surface, it destroys the microbial organisms through a process called oxidisation.
- Step Three: Oxidisation damages, destroys and inactivates the cell walls of bacteria, eliminating up to 99.99%* of surface contamination.
- Step Four: After SAO finishes cleaning and sanitising, it reverts to water and oxygen leaving no impact on the environment.
